Growing up in New Jersey, Allan's musical spark ignited early. At just nine years old, he wandered into a neighbor’s basement and saw something that would change everything: a live band tearing through a set of Southern rock. Already steeped in the sounds of his parents’ and older siblings’ record collections, this was different. Louder. Rawer. Alive. He was hooked.
He picked up the snare drum in school band and played every chance he got, eventually piecing together his first full kit through allowance money and a paper route. With guidance from the very drummer who first inspired him, he learned not just how to play, but how to build his sound from the ground up.
By sixteen, he was already landing paid gigs. Since then, he’s spent more than three decades behind the kit, performing up and down the East Coast with a range of high-energy cover bands. Known for his driving rhythms, stage presence, and love of the craft, he’s built a reputation for bringing both power and precision to every performance. Now, he’s bringing that same passion and experience to the stage with The Sandy Ridge Band, ready to lay down the groove and keep the crowd moving.
It’s only rock and roll… but he loves it.
